Eugene R. McGrath retired as chairman and CEO of Con Edison in 2006. He served as CEO of Con Ed from 1990 to 2005. Mr. McGrath joined Con Edison in 1963, following his graduation from Manhattan College where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He has an M.B.A. from Iona College and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. Mr. McGrath remains a director of Con Edison and is on several other corporate and non-profit boards including Schering-Plough, Barnard College, and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
