According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, global clean energy investment reached its highest figure ever in 2015 — $328.9 billion dollars. That is six times what it was in 2004. 2015 also saw the most installation of renewable power capacity, even though a crash in fossil fuel prices was expected to take the wind out of clean tech's sales.
