Founded in 1994, The Kauffman Fellows Program is a two-year educational fellowship program designed to develop and network emerging leaders in the venture capital industry and has had remarkable results, yielding 322 graduates who represent some of the industry’s leading firms. The Program’s international reach includes fellows and firms from 42 countries on six continents, including the UK, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Israel, Ghana, Japan, China, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and India. Kauffman Fellows collectively manage over $188 Billion globally. Their work has impacted over 2.2 million entrepreneurs through their direct investments and education and public policy platforms.

“It is a great honor and privilege to be recognized by such a worthwhile organization and to be named as an honorary Kauffman Fellow,” said Costello. “It has been, and will continue to be, our goal to support rising talents within the venture capital industry. Braemar and I are extremely proud to be a part of the Kauffman Fellows Program and look forward to continuing our efforts in furthering the program.”

CEO Emeritus and Honorary Kauffman Fellow, Trish Costello, lauded the contribution of Dennis Costello as a Charter Mentor of the Program. “The mentors of the Charter Class of Kauffman Fellows were great advisors but so much more. They were also the designers of this unique program, the first to formally educate, develop and prepare emerging leaders to invest in entrepreneurs and innovators. Dennis Costello’s leadership was critical to our early success and he continues to provide wise counsel in support our global growth.”
